Box.net Widget
The Box.net file sharing widget gives you a great looking way to share files with your readers or buddies.

When you add the widget just click on the go get some HTML code link to start adding files and create your account. You will be taken to a page which looks similar to the image below. Follow the instructions to complete the process. Once everything is setup, copy the code and paste it into the widget.

If you find that your widget is too small or too big for your sidebar, you can change it’s dimensions, tweaking the width and height. Experiment a little and you should hit on just the right formula.
Additional Info
If you would like to change the color of the widget, look inside the code you were given for color=000000 (the six characters could vary). If you go to Visibone or this Color Wheel find the color you want and remove the ‘#’ symbol. Replace the 6 characters in the code that was pasted into the widget with the new 6 character color code.
It is not possible to stop anyone from downloading a file from your Box.net widget unless you have a fully private blog. Anyone who is able to view your blog can download the files.
There is not a way to find out who has downloaded your files
The code for this widget will only work in the sidebar. It will not work in posts or pages.
