To insert a link using an image from your blog’s Media Library, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Add an Image button.

  2. Click the Media Library tab.

  3. Click the Show link next to the image you would like to add to your post or page.

  4. Configure the Link URL field. 
    • If you don’t want the image to link to anything, leave the Link URL field blank. 
    • If you want the image to link to the original file, click the File URL button to fill in the Link URL field. 
    • If you want the image to link to a formatted blog page containing just the image, click the Post URL button to fill in the Link URL field.

  5. Click the Insert into Post button.
  6. The image is inserted into your post and linked whatever was in the Link URL field.

To insert a link using an image URL stored somewhere else on the Internet, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Add an Image button.

  2. Click the From URL tab.

  3. Type the URL of the image file into the Image URL text box and fill in the Link Image To text box.
    • If you don’t want the image to link to anything, leave the Link Image To field blank. 
    • If you want the image to link to the original file, click the Link to image button to fill in the Link Image To field. image-from-url-form
  4. Click the Insert into Post button.
  5. The image is inserted into your post and linked to the web site you set.
